Visual Excavation

Through an investigation of a variety of photographic means, exploring themes of technology, nature, and the human, techniques such as google maps photography and constructed microscope images began to show connections. 

 

Finally, this resulted in an abstract zine presented in an insulin box, the duality that exists in this relationship with assistive technology, future complications, rationing supplies due to cost, and the objectifying medical lens were explored.
